GTM Sportswear is seeking an experienced front-end Web Designer/Developer to join our GTM Team! This position will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the existing infrastructure as well as helping developing new systems and applications. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: converting graphic design compositions into HTML pages utilizing CSS, develop necessary user functionality of Web interfaces using JavaScript and jQuery, create user-friendly user interfaces, debug script to locate problems, perform usability and functionality testing of Web applications. Must possess strong skills in Object Oriented Development and have a strong development portfolio. Candidate must have experience in structured environment with increasing levels of responsibility and complexity. Candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills and must be able to communicate with non-technical users. Great attention to detail is a must! Previous experience SQL Server 2005, VB.Net and Dot Net is a plus! This can be a telecommuter position. Will require one to two weeks of training in Manhattan, KS and necessary travel to Manhattan when needed.
